Alzheimer’s Australia has two national advisory groups, each with a different focus and/or membership:
Alzheimer’s Australia’s National Dementia Consumer Network
The National Dementia Consumer Network was established in May 2016.
It is a broad and inclusive network for people with dementia, their families or support person, and current or past informal carers.
Membership of the network is open to all consumers from across the country of all ages and backgrounds.
Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Advisory Committee
The Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Advisory Committee supports people with dementia to have a voice in advocating for the needs and priorities of people with dementia in relation to service provision, information, support and education.
All members are people with dementia.
