Living with Memory Loss progam 
The Living with Memory Loss program is designed for people living with early stage dementia and their support person (family members or friends). The program incorporates a two hour education, information and support workshop once per week for six weeks, followed by monthly ongoing support group meetings.

Participants will have an opportunity to:
  • Obtain information and have questions answered;
  • Talk confidentially with others in a similar situation;
  • Discuss experiences and express feelings in a safe environment;
  • Focus on maintaining and enhancing skills and abilities; and
  • Explore ways of managing now and into the future.

This program is intended for:
People living with early stage dementia and their support person (family or friends).

Format:
Sessions are offered in a range of formats to suit participant:
  • two hour sessions on a weekly basis;
  • sessions held over two days; or
  • as a retreat.

Note
: This program can be held on demand for six to eight couples at a specific location. This means if you are willing to travel to the nominated venue, you may be able to join an earlier program.
