Alzheimer's Australia Vic has the people and expertise to listen to your concerns and provide the information, practical advice and support you may need.

    National Dementia Helpline

  • Speak with one of our professional consultants about dementia, discuss your needs and connect to a range of programs and services. The Helpline operates Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm.

Vic - Counselling and support

Dementia counselling is provided throughout Victoria by telephone, in the family home, at one of our metropolitan or regional offices and over the internet. If English is not your first language, interpreters can be arranged.

Vic - Living with Memory Loss Program

An information and support program for people living with early stage dementia and their support person.

Vic - Services for people with Younger Onset Dementia

The term younger onset dementia is used to describe any form of dementia diagnosed in people under the age of sixty-five.

Vic - Memory Lane Café

The Memory Lane Café program is available for people with a diagnosis of dementia and their family members.

Vic - Telephone Outreach Program

This program is specifically designed to provide support and information to people with dementia, family members and carers who are isolated.

VIC - EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR FAMILIES AND CARERS

Alzheimer's Australia Vic offers a broad range of FREE sessions and courses for family members, friends and carers of a loved one living with dementia.

Vic - Multicultural services

Alzheimer’s Australia Vic is committed to meeting the needs of people living with dementia, their families and carers, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. A number of strategies to better meet the needs of people living with dementia, their families and carers from a CALD background are being implemented as part of our ongoing diversity initiatives within Alzheimer’s Australia Vic.

Vic - Safe2Walk

This GPS based personal alert and location service provides increased independence for people living with dementia and peace of mind to family carers.

Vic - Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service

A specialist telephone service available 24 hrs a day across Australia, which provides advice about managing behaviours of concern in people with dementia.

Vic - Support Groups

Share your experiences with others who understand in one of the many community based Support Groups.

Vic - Library and information service
