The Adelaide Zoo and Alzheimer's Australia SA Memory Walk

The Adelaide Zoo and Alzheimer's Australia SA Memory Walk is an awareness and fundraising initiative designed to engage the South Australian public in a fun and active way which creates new memories and rekindles old ones.
The memory walk is an opportunity for families to share and enjoy all the fun of the Zoo while helping to make a significant difference to the lives of people living with dementia.
Each memory walker will be given a card with a map upon entry, the walk will follow the map similar to a yellow brick road format
On the map are 6 historic sites within the Zoo.
Memory Walkers will be encouraged to visit each historic land mark by collecting a stamp from each sponsor

Expert Zoo volunteers will be talking about forgotten stories of the Zoo, Elephants, Polar Bears, hunters, collecters, every half hour.
After collecting all 6 stamps from our sponsors place your map in the draw for you chance to win the major prize a 55" Big screen TV donated by the Good Guys Hectorville.
This has never been done in any Zoo anywhere in the world before ... another first for South Australia!
