Respite services
Alzheimer’s Australia WA provides a range of respite options for carers and families of people with dementia.
Respite gives carers regular support or short breaks from the demands of caring for a person with dementia.
Respite referrals
Referrals for respite can be made by General Practitioners (GPs), carers, family and friends, healthcare workers and community service agencies. A medical diagnosis of irreversible progressive dementia is required.
