Alzheimer’s Australia Vic library is committed to providing access to quality dementia related information to people living with dementia.

Any interested person  is welcome to visit and use the facilities of the library. You need to be a member to access Alzheimer’s Australia Vic library.

Information about items held in the collection as well as other states and territories can be accessed via the
Online library catalogue 

Books
Topics include behaviour, residential care, dementia design and books for children

Journals
Favourites include Journal of Dementia Care, Alzheimer’s Care Today and Activities Directors’ Quarterly

DVDs (& Videos)
Excellent educational material on dementia, care and effective communication

The library also provides;

  • Advice on resources to meet individual needs
  • Special interest topic folders for use within the library
  • Selected resource/reading lists and information sheets by topic
  • Library browsing
  • Use of computers within the library to conduct own internet searches
  • Inter Library Loans service for journal articles
  • Photocopying facilities.
