Ita Buttrose AO, OBE, National President of Alzheimer’s Australia, will be giving the open address at a lecture to be held at the Melbourne Brain Centre on 27 March.
The lecture is presented as a joint project between Alzheimer’s Australia and Australian Imaging, Biomarkers & Lifestyle (AIBL). The lecture entitled Consumers and researchers fighting Alzheimer's disease together will highlight the national and international research currently being undertaken as well as future new avenues for research into the prevention, early detection and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
Other presenters include Dr Maria Carrillo Senior Director, Medical and Scientific Relations, Alzheimer's Association (USA) and Professor David Ames Co-chair of the Australian Imaging, Biomarkers & Lifestyle (AIBL) Flagship Study of Ageing.
