Combating stigma and social exclusion faced by people with dementia will be one of the key topics at an upcoming joint conference organised by Aged Care and Community Services WA (ACSWA) and Alzheimer’s Australia WA.
The Conference, “It’s about More, It’s about time” will provide an opportunity for the aged care sector and the community to stand together and push hard to make a difference for ageing Australians.
Topics covered include:
- Responding to stigma and social exclusion faced by people with dementia
- Technology and aged care
- Better funding or better management
- Consumer directed care.
- Housing for people with dementia
