Jeremy Ratcliffe, a resident of South Melbourne, aims to raise between $5,000 to $7,500 for Alzheimer’s Australia when he rides from Brisbane to Melbourne in June - July.

A close family member of Mr Ratcliffe has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, inspiring Mr Ratcliffe to fundraise for Alzheimer's Australia. Mr Ratcliffe says; “I realised by supporting the efforts of the foundation (Alzheimer’s Australia), I was in turn supporting my family.”
Mr Ratcliffe will ride from Brisbane to Melbourne along the Pacific Highway, a distance of approximately 1,800km, in a time frame of 18-20 days. Mr Ratcliffe's support enables Alzheimer's Australia to increase the level of research into dementia care, prevention and cure and gives hope to people with dementia, their families and carers.
