Alzheimer's Australia ACT offer a free information session for family members or friends caring for a person with dementia.
The journey of dementia is unique for every person who has dementia and for every person caring for someone with dementia. Sometimes the impact of that journey isn’t obvious, and we can find ourselves feeling out of our depth in being able to understand what is happening and why, and what we can do about the often tumultuous changes that are happening within ourselves and within our relationships with one another.
These are the issues that we’ll be chatting about during the two hours of this session. There’ll be plenty of opportunity for participants to share their particular concerns, should they wish to, and for us to work toward some positive solution.
Morning tea will be provided.
If you require respite care to attend this session, please contact the ACT Carer Respite Centre on 62969900 or 1800 059 059.
