A free information session for family members or friends caring for a person with dementia.
Dementia affects people's ability to communicate and thus has significant effects on relationships. Understanding why a person's ability to communicate has changed is important for both the people with dementia who are directly affected and for those who have relationships with them. Understanding also allows us all to find ways to overcome the barriers that these changes in communicative ability often create.
Please RSVP by calling 6255 0722.
If you require respite care to attend this session, please contact the ACT Carer Respite Centre on 6296 900 or 1800 059 059.
